Tropical Wood Art has evolved over the last decade and a lot of our standard designs were originated from the ideas of our customers. Our beautiful wood carvings are first band sawed, then chain sawed and hand carved with smaller tools into a huge variety of shapes from tropical to nautical to sea life to even cocktail glasses and beer mugs.They are then fine sanded to finish. From there they are passed to the paint department where these plaques come alive with vivid colors and detailing. We air brush many of our pieces and hand brush for details. Once this is complete the final coat of urethane is applied so that the plaques and signs are weatherproofed should they be used outdoors.

Last year we added on Tiki Bars to our inventory of work. We do our Tiki Bars in four styles called Keywest, Hawaiian, Polynesian and Crab Shack. We also added picnic tables and benches last year, as well as, Adirondack chairs, tables and foot rests that we paint in a tropical colors with beautiful tropical murals. Coming soon we are adding on Tiki Huts, Tiki style cocktail tables and cocktail stools.

Each and every piece is hand crafted by a member of the family with care and the personal touch. Our plaques and signs make wonderful gifts and a huge part of our success is that we will personalize each plaque by free hand painting your name or favorite saying on them. This makes each one extra special. Each plaque comes with either a rope for hanging on the top of the plaques or we can make them wall mounted, whichever you prefer.
